The breakfast had a healthy variety of biscuits, jams, and pastries, perfect for a sugar rush. The location was great, with a garden and terrace for some fresh air. The beds were like art, with a gigantic painting as a headboard.
Oh, how I loved the bright bare light bulbs in the bedroom and bathroom, making it feel like a crime scene investigation. So cozy!

Our stay at Casa Del Pittore was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and ample space to relax. The location was perfect, on a main street but surprisingly quiet. The staff, especially Victoria, were friendly and helpful, recommending a great nearby restaurant and even helping us with parking. We felt privileged to stay in such a historic and atmospheric building.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The bedrooms in the attic are cozy and comfortable, with the option to accommodate up to 6 beds. It felt like a home away from home, perfect for a group of friends or a large family like mine.
Although others might enjoy it, I found one feature a bit less appealing: the rooms being situated in the attic. However, it's just my subjective opinion, and some guests might appreciate the unique charm it brings.

Fantastic location with easy access to the historic center and other attractions. The hotel's attention to detail in preserving the historic building's charm while still offering modern amenities is commendable. The friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The tasty and satisfying breakfast offered a good variety of options, including local specialties like the delicious Mantova cake.
Noise from the street was not a major issue thanks to soundproof windows.

We had an unforgettable stay in a historic property that was recently modernized with a respectful touch. the room we stayed in was tastefully furnished with high ceilings, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. the communal lounge and balcony were wonderful spots to catch up on reading. Breakfast was excellent, and never rushed. the location was central to the town's historic district, thus making it accessible to most attractions, shops, and dining options. Thanks to our friendly and helpful hosts, we had a memorable experience that we will never forget.
Sadly, the only drawback was the noise from the main road that was audible from our room despite the double glazing.

The room was very spacious and had good lighting. The breakfast was decent. The location was central and close to the main attractions.
The stairs were very steep and difficult to climb, especially if carrying luggage. The noise from the street was unbearable, even with the windows closed.
